6:00 AM – Departure from Cairo

Your Tripora Tours Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your morning flight to Luxor.


9:00 AM – Arrival in Luxor

Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, your guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name. You’ll begin your journey by visiting the West Bank of Luxor, home to some of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites.


West Bank Tour

  • Valley of the Kings: Explore the famous Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs from the New Kingdom period were buried in grand tombs carved into the cliffs. You’ll see the rich decorations on the walls, depicting stories from Egyptian mythology and life after death. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to the tombs of famous pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Ramses II.

  • Temple of Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari): Visit the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, a beautiful mortuary temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh. The temple’s unique terraced design is considered one of the architectural masterpieces of ancient Egypt.

  • Colossi of Memnon: Stop to admire the colossal statues of Amenhotep III—the Colossi of Memnon. These towering statues once guarded the entrance to a massive mortuary temple, now lost to time.


12:30 PM – Lunch Break (Optional)

Take a break for lunch (not included in the package) at a local restaurant, where you can try traditional Egyptian dishes while enjoying the views of the Nile.


East Bank Tour

After lunch, continue your journey to the East Bank to explore some of the most spectacular temples in Egypt.

  • Karnak Temple: Explore the massive Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the world. The temple is dedicated to Amun-Ra, the sun god, and houses a variety of structures, including the Great Hypostyle Hall, which boasts 134 massive columns.

  • Luxor Temple: Visit the Luxor Temple, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture. This temple was dedicated to the god Amun and is home to some of the best-preserved structures of ancient Egypt. Don’t forget to walk through the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes, which once connected Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple.


5:00 PM – Flight Back to Cairo

After your day of exploration, you’ll be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, your driver will take you back to your hotel, where you’ll end your unforgettable day trip to Luxor.
