7:00 AM – Pick-Up from Cairo Hotel

Your Tripora Tours Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo at 7:00 AM for an exciting journey to Bahariya Oasis.

You will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for about 4 hours through the desert, with rest stops along the way. The road will take you across the stunning Sand Sea of the Western Desert, passing Farafra Oasis, before reaching Bahariya Oasis—the northernmost oasis in Egypt.

Arrival at Bahariya Oasis and 4WD Adventure Begins

Once you arrive at Bahariya, we’ll switch to a 4×4 Land Cruiser to explore the desert’s hidden treasures. Your first stop will be the Black Desert, a dark, rocky area formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. It’s a remarkable spot for photography, with rich iron ore deposits scattered throughout the landscape.

Crystal Mountain and Valley of Agabat

The adventure continues with a visit to the Crystal Mountain where you can marvel at the quartz crystals that gleam under the sun. Then, we’ll head to the Valley of Agabat, also known as the Valley of Wonders. This awe-inspiring valley is filled with magnificent sand dunes, and here you’ll get a chance to practice sandboarding on the dunes.

Lunch at the Roman Spring of Ain Khadra

After some desert exploration, we’ll stop at the Roman spring of Ain Khadra for a picnic lunch. Enjoy a traditional Egyptian meal while surrounded by the tranquil sounds of running water and the beauty of the desert landscape.

White Desert Natural Protectorate

After lunch, we’ll make our way to the White Desert—one of Egypt’s most famous natural wonders. Here, you’ll encounter stunning chalk and limestone formations that have been sculpted by natural erosion into shapes resembling mushrooms, trees, and even a Sphinx-like rock formation.
Take time to marvel at the surreal beauty of this desert landscape and enjoy the serenity of the environment. Before returning to Cairo, we’ll make a final stop in an area filled with tent-shaped rocks.

Return to Cairo via Bahariya Oasis

On the way back to Cairo, we’ll stop once more at Bahariya Oasis to relax and take in the views of the palm trees, fruit fields, and the hot spring in the area.

By late evening, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo, filled with memories of an unforgettable adventure in the desert.
